Open Season on White Males
Tennessee Democrat Congressman Steve Cohen provided another example of liberal/leftist racism and sexism when he twitted on Monday, Jan. 18, his concerns with the National Guard securing the Inauguration because about 90% are white males because only about 20 percent of white males voted for Biden, “there are probably not more than 25% of the people protecting us that voted for Biden” His assumptions are outrageous, racist, and sexist.
Cohen went on to make further stupid and foolish assumptions. He said that Trump-supporting guardsmen should be screened to prevent potential assassination attempts, comparing the threat to the assassinations of Egyptian prime minister Anwar Sadat and Indian prime minister Indira Gandhi, who were killed by members of their nations’ armies.
The civil rights movement has evolved from a push for equal opportunity to one of revenge politics. Affirmative action and liberal/leftist politics have encouraged people to view themselves as “victims” and others as “oppressors,” thus justifying the politics of revenge.
It’s incredibly shallow and dumb that Democrats and liberals cannot understand that one can’t overcome racism with more racism. To assume that all or most white males who voted for Trump are dangerous and equate them with fanatical assassins in India and Egypt is disgusting.
If Biden wants to “heal” America’s political divide, he must tell (yes, tell) Democrat politicians to stop making negative assumptions regarding whole groups of people look, act, and think differently. This is just plain racism and sexism.
Racism doesn’t cure racism.
