Last Saturday, May 5, the City of Del Rio elected Bruno "Ralphy" Lozano mayor who happens to be a U.S. Air Force veteran and openly, flamboyantly gay. Ironically, Del Rio has for decades been known as the "Queen City".
Lozano defeated longtime incumbent Mayor Robert Garza 2,128, or 61.54 percent to 1,330, or 38.46 percent, but voter turnout was considered low. Only 3,458 voted for mayor out of a city with a population of 36,000.
Welcome to San Antonio... (as long as you support same sex marriage, abortion on demand, illegal aliens as citizens, climate change as fact, toll roads and rail systems, reparations for slavery, native people's genocide, and stealing Texas from Mexico, a "living" wage for everyone, and the redistribution of your wealth by government. Otherwise, we might poison your Mexican food.)
Students will rally tomorrow (Saturday, March 24) in DC and in San Antonio for more gun control. I worry when immature-emotional-uninformed kids try to influence public policy and affect my personal freedom and liberty.
To say the San Antonio Express-News (SAEN) Arts writer Debra Martin shows her liberal moral values in her latest review of the play "Book of Mormon" is an understatement. The play, like Corpus Christi is irreverent, vulgar, blasphemous, and mocks the religious view of over 16 million people, but the Martin compliments it.
The Media, Democrats and some Republicans have been quick condemning "the right", "conservatives", "whites", "males" and "Trump" over the violence that occurred in Charlottesville, VA on Saturday, August 12, 2017. But it is disingenuous to be selective in any condemnation, and we should review some facts over the past few weeks to recognize that the Mainstream, Democrats, and some Republicans are being "selective" in their comments about racial bias and violence.
