The liberal media and Texas Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate Rep. Robert Francis O'Rourke scrambled early Tuesday morning to minimize any possible damage to O’Rourke’s campaign caused by the radical leftists who harassed Texas Senator Ted Cruz at a D.C. restaurant on Monday.
O’Rourke released a statement that defended his opponent, Senator Cruz’ right to eat in peace after leftist Democrat protesters bragged about chasing the Republican out of a Washington restaurant. He Tweeted, "Not right that Senator Cruz and his wife Heidi were surrounded and forced to leave a restaurant last night because of protesters. The Cruz family should be treated with respect."
The liberal Politico Magazine and other Mainstream Media outlets immediately carried O’Rouke’s tweet. Given their track record, can we believe O’Rourke’s sincere concern and the media’s interest in an objective report?
In another example of character assassination by the leftist media and the Democrats, The New Yorker Magazine broke the story of another allegation of sexual misconduct by Supreme Court nominee, Judge Brett Kavanaugh. However, the story, by Ronan Farrow and Jane Mayer, has been unraveling since the New Yorker published it on Sunday, Sept. 23.
The accuser, Deborah Ramirez, told the New Yorker she had “significant gaps in her memories” regarding the alleged college party from 1983. However, the New Yorker reported that after six days of “consulting” with a Democratic lawyer, Ramirez believed Kavanaugh was the supposed man who exposed himself to her at a party while they attended Yale University. Really?
Furthermore, The New Yorker admitted that it “has not confirmed with other eyewitnesses that Kavanaugh was present at the party.” Even Ramirez’s best friend from her college days has claimed that she never heard about the incident.
In yet another example of the San Antonio Express-News’ bias in reporting, the paper ran an article on Friday, Aug. 10 criticizing Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott for paying his top staffers six-figure wages with a top salary of $265,000. But ironically, the SA Express has never criticized San Antonio city manager Sheryl Sculley for her $500,000 salary.
The SA Express-News is the public mouthpiece for SA/Bexar County Establishment which supports Sculley, and promotes the Establishment’s agenda. However, they criticize, attack, or ignore any opponents, and this article appears to be a hit piece on Abbott because he has opposed the SA/Bexar County Establishment’s agenda on several occasions.
Abbott was criticized in the article because his staff’s salaries exceed those paid in California, Florida and other big states. According to the comparisons made in the article, five of Abbott’s top administrators each make $265,000 a year. But SA city manager Sculley makes almost twice that much, and the SA Express-News has never criticized her.
Tyrants always scream and lash out when they’re challenged, and that seems to be the case with San Antonio’s city hall, and their mouth piece, the SA Express-News (SAEN). The SAEN has published several articles in recent weeks about the three city charter amendments sponsored by the SA Firefighters’ union, and supported by many grassroots citizens because the amendments would limit the city’s power.
The thought of citizens limiting the city government’s power has panicked city hall and their crony friends.
The city and Establishment organized a PAC funded by crony businesses and called, “Secure San Antonio’s Future” to stop the amendments. The PAC has gone to three different courts to stop the amendments from ever going to the voters, and lost all three times.
Frightening business owners and taxpayers seems to the City’s goal, and the SAEN is helping. On Friday, July 27, the SAEN reported that the major municipal bond companies were warning against the passage of the charter amendments.
CNN's Jim Acosta is playing the victim because he was “villainized” at a recent Trump rally, and the rest of the liberal Media has jumped on the pity-party band wagon for themselves. Imagine, the liberal news media that controls 90% of the public information feeling they are “threatened”, and they don’t understand why.
Grassroots Americans are called “backwater”, “ignorant”, “uninformed”, “racist”, and “sexist” on a daily basis by the liberal media, and it has gotten old.
Spanish speaking news media is even worse than the English speaking media. Jorge Ramos of Univision and Jose Diaz-Balart of Telemundo have made their liberal political leanings very clear, and they don’t apologize for it.
Univision and Telemundo, beside encouraging the maintenance of a second language and separate culture, undermine border security and enforcement by excusing and justifying illegal immigration. They are creating a segregation of society.
The liberal media hides behind the First Amendment, but they cannot be hide the truth which Main Street America knows and sees daily. They can tell us it’s dark, but we know it’s light.
