13,000 Illegal Alien Criminals at Large
Texas Republican Congressman Tony Gonzales has learned that more than 13,000 illegal aliens convicted of homicide — either in the United States or abroad — are living outside of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention. Furthermore, ICE officials are not sure how many are incarcerated in the U.S. because state and local sanctuary governments do not cooperate or share the information with ICE.
ICE also told Congressman Gonzales that the agency has released 435,000 undocumented migrants with criminal convictions to cities around the United States. “Of those, 435,719 are convicted criminals, and 226,847 have pending criminal charges,” said ICE Deputy Director Patrick Lechleitner.
These illegal alien criminals are part of ICE’s “non-detained” docket, meaning the agency has some information on them, and they have pending immigration cases in the U.S. However, these illegal alien criminals are not currently in detention either because they are not prioritized for detention, they are serving time in jail for their crimes, or ICE cannot find them.
The Biden-Harris Administration, with the support of liberal, pro-open borders, anti-law enforcement politicians and groups, has created dangerous conditions for Americans in their own country and their neighborhoods.
The border must be secured, and the federal, state, and local governments must protect American citizens. All illegal alien criminals must be arrested and removed from the U.S., and eventually, all illegal aliens must be removed.
