An Effective & Humane Deportation Plan
Liberal politicians and the news media are expressing “humanitarian” concerns about the deportation of illegal aliens. However, we must understand that illegal aliens have broken immigration laws, and there must be consequences.
The Trump Administration has a practical and humanitarian deportation plan that will be implemented. The plan will complement actions on the border to stop further illegal immigration.
First, we must understand that it is against federal law for foreigners to enter or reside in the U.S. without permission or proper documentation. That includes anyone who entered during the Biden/Harris Administration under programs created without Congressional consent, like the CBP 1. These people are considered “illegal aliens.”
What is the point of having immigration laws if there are no consequences for breaking those laws?
There has always been an illegal immigration problem in America, but since the Biden/Harris Administration took over, it has become the worst open border in U.S. history. As many as 21 million illegal aliens have crossed the border since 2021, most without proper background checks, and they have been allowed to stay in the U.S.
Among these millions of illegal aliens are dangerous criminals and terrorists. Something must be done to stop illegal immigration and control the border because if we excuse and tolerate any illegal immigration, we get more and worse illegal immigration.
President Trump’s newly designated Border Czar, Tom Homan, has outlined a plan to remove and deport the millions of illegal aliens effectively and humanely. There will be no mass deportations or street sweeps to arrest illegal aliens, as many liberals and leftists claim. This allegation is just a political scare tactic. The term “mass deportations” is used to describe the immense number of illegal aliens to remove, not an action.
Regarding deportations, the priority will be to remove illegal alien criminals and terrorists. Anyone with a criminal record or in jail serving time for a crime and anyone associated with a criminal organization, gang, or cartel will be the first to be deported. These deportations will also include persons on the terrorist watch list who are detained, arrested, or imprisoned.
The second priority will be those persons who are working without permission. Employment is the number one driving force for illegal immigration, and it must be stopped. Also, unauthorized workers must be arrested.
The third priority will be to encourage all illegal aliens to leave the U.S. voluntarily. How? Sanctuary communities must be abolished. State and local governments must stop providing benefits, rights, and protections to all illegal aliens.
What is the point of being a lawful, legal citizen if an illegal alien gets the same benefits, rights, and protections? Voluntary departures have happened in U.S. history and will happen again…once the benefits and protections end.
The fourth priority will be illegal aliens who refuse to leave. Deportations will happen if people do not exit voluntarily. On this point, liberals and leftists ask about family separation.
Illegal alien families will be split just as citizens are separated when a family member goes to jail. But it should be remembered that these are circumstances created by the illegal aliens when they decided to cross the border ILLEGALLY. Also, an entire family can be deported together to avoid separation.
In conclusion, there will be a prioritized deportation plan but no mass deportation. Immigration laws must be enforced, and we must return to the enforcement of immigration laws just like they were under President Clinton, Bush, and Obama.
As an American of Mexican descent, I oppose illegal immigration and am not afraid of the enforcement of immigration laws because I have not broken any. I support the deportation and removal of all illegal aliens in a prioritized, controlled, humanitarian manner.
We must understand that persons who are in the U.S. without permission or documentation are illegal aliens, and they need to be deported and removed. Remember, if we excuse and tolerate any illegal immigration, we will get more and worse illegal immigration.
