How Safe Are We?

Police Line Do Not Cross

Do you believe the Biden Administration and the mainstream news? They claim violent crime has dropped by more than 15% in the United States during the first three months of 2024. However, the daily news reports of violence and theft indicate otherwise.

According to the “Biden” FBI, nationwide violent crime dropped 15.2% from January to March compared to the same period in 2023. Murders fell by 26.4% and reported rapes decreased by 25.7%. Aggravated assaults decreased during that period when compared to last year by 12.5%, according to the data, while robberies fell by 17.8%.

Could these “low” crime stats be the result of George Soros-funded District Attorneys in major cities who are “decriminalizing” crimes, practicing social justice, and not prosecuting crimes? Could it be that understaffed police departments are overwhelmed, and some crimes are not reported? Could it be that the police officers are extremely careful of arresting anyone because they could be fired or prosecuted?

A count of the violent crimes in San Antonio and Bexar County, as reported in the local news between May 6 and June 17, 2024, shows there have been 35 shootings and 11 stabbings, which resulted in 15 deaths and 40 injuries. How does that compare to the Biden-FBI-Democrat narrative, which the liberal SA city council and press repeat?

The Biden Administration is desperate to promote an election-year message that crime is under control. However, like their messages saying the economy is not bad and the border is secure, Biden and his news media allies cannot hide the truth.

The soft-on-crime, “social justice” style of justice does not make communities safe. The open border has also made crime worse with foreign criminals and terrorists. If any crimes, large or small, are excused or tolerated, you will get more and worse crimes.

It is time to get tough on crime because our public and personal safety depends on it.
