The San Antonio Express-News’ opinion columnist Gilbert Garcia wrote an article on Saturday, March 5th, reminding everyone that Elisa Chan “was back from exile” after tape-recorded making some comments about the liberal/leftist LGBTQ agenda in city politics. The liberal/leftist Garcia doesn’t mention that Ms. Chan’s remarks were made in secret, without her knowledge, in a private meeting.
We should wonder what information we could learn if someone secretly recorded Garcia’s private conversations and the private meetings of SAEN senior staff. Privacy is meaningless for the liberals and leftists, especially if they can find something that furthers their agenda.
Ms. Chan’s opposition to certain liberal/leftist LGBTQ positions and proposals was already a matter of public record, so her private conversation didn’t reveal anything new. But the SAEN writers love to be dramatic when it suits them.
Secondly, Garcia and the SAEN staff conveniently ignore a conservative LGBTQ group in town. Their agenda and politics differ from the liberal/leftist LGBTQ agenda, just as the conservative Republican Hispanics differ from the liberal/leftist Democrat Hispanics. Sadly, Garcia and the SAEN don’t care to give equal time in the media to anyone or any issue that doesn’t agree with their liberal/leftist views.
Ms. Chan’s sin was that she expressed her opinion in a private meeting. Garcia and SAEN should be more upset that someone recorded Chan without her permission and knowledge instead of what she said.
Garcia and the SAEN support a liberal/leftist agenda and want to subvert any conservative or Republican at election time. Especially if they got the most votes in a heavily Republican district as Chan did.
This article is local Fake News misleading the voters and citizens, again.
