The Role of San Antonio Podcasters in the Local “Trump Revolution”
Though political pundits may conclude that national podcasters were one of the many influences on the Trump 2024 election results, in my opinion, the truth-telling by the Trump campaign echoed the negative experiences felt every day by the American People, i.e., the economy, crime, and massive invasions at our borders, all without an administration response but lies. In short, only the blind sycophants bought the lies and the disaster the Biden-Harris administration wrought upon the nation.
In the past, Newspapers were the disseminators of news, biased and neutral, from national publications to local print, both small and large. Then came television, and with the internet and podcasters, YouTube, and others’ creative use of the media drowned out Newspapers and the mainstream media news (opinion) on TV.
Independent podcasters were a powerful force in Trump’s 2024 victory. They followed the people’s pressing issues and countered the spin by the liberal/leftist news media.
The same holds for the coming city elections in May 2025, as with the Trump victory. San Antonio conservatives need to be informed and educated by conservative local sources to create a Trump-like grassroots revolution to take control of city government.
Everyone except the die-hard SA Sycophants and those that the machine is holding by the neck, the city has gone over its mandates to protect the city. It is using City Hall to promote its socialist perversions on the majority. The SA citizens need to wake up! There must be a proliferation of SA conservative truth-tellers to inform and educate the voters and citizens about the liberal/leftist City Hall policies and politics.
Many San Antonio voters and citizens see the local news media as little more than propaganda for the political/economic establishment. The local news media, like the mainstream news media across the country, is dominated by liberal/leftist journalists, commentators, and editors.
A local news report or editorial comment will have a liberal/leftist view 90% of the time. Furthermore, liberal/leftist groups and politicians will attempt to prevent any conservative voices from being heard in the news media. News reporters consistently interview liberals and leftists about an issue or incident and ignore a conservative point of view.
In recent times, the local news media has supported the liberal/leftist popular trends in politics and culture by reporting with a liberal/leftist bias. The anti-police movement created more crime, but liberals and leftists have insisted that America is safer. However, citizens know that is untrue.
The SA news media reported that certain crimes in the city were down, especially at “hot spots” patrolled by the city police and studied by the UTSA. The news later used FBI figures to substantiate the city’s assertion that crime was down.
The citizens can see the truth about local crime with their own eyes, from a shootout at Fiesta Week to the wounding of several police officers in the line of duty by repeat offenders. Furthermore, when the FBI crime figures were later debunked, the local news said little about it and did not question the city about their figures.
Another example is the local news media’s partnership with the city’s political and big business establishment. As big business interests carry substantial political power and influence at the national level, so do they at the city and county levels.
For example, there is the city’s $4 Billion “Project Marvel” and the $160 million SA Missions home stadium. Facts on how and who will pay for these expensive projects are sketchy, and the local mainstream media refuses to ask hard questions about the projects. Never mind that San Antonio has the second-highest debt in Texas and is among the poorest cities in the nation. (https://www.newsnationnow.com/business/your-money/most-debt-ridden-cities-us/)
The local news media never asked why the Missions, a minor league baseball team, left a perfectly suitable baseball park in west SA in an economically depressed area for the tourism industry-dominated downtown.
The local news sometimes reports factually on a story, such as the corruption, incompetence, and political bias in Bexar County District Attorney Joe Gonzales’ office. But the damage had already been done when they reported it correctly.
History has shown that when the political-economic establishments want to control the politics and economy of communities and nations, they control the information. If the Trump Revolution is to reach the neighborhoods of San Antonio and Bexar County, then local, credible podcasters are essential, just as they were at the national level.
If the truth makes us free, local fake news will enslave us.
