Retired San Antonio police officer Willie Cantu and El Conservador George Rodriguez discuss two recent hot topics. First, we discuss the April 28 shooting at Market Square during Fiesta. Another repeat offender showed disregard for public safety, even in the presence of many police officers.

Second, an SAPD officer serving as a Bexar County District Attorney investigator asked to be taken off the assignment because of the D.A.’s office’s lack of support, which put the officer in potential danger. This situation results from D.A. Joe Gonzales’s liberal, political, anti-police attitude and his fight with SAPD Chief William McManus.
