Venezuelan “Tren de Aragua” Gang in Texas
On Thursday, Sept. 19, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) arrested two Venezuelan nationals in San Antonio during a crackdown on the violent transnational gang “Tren de Aragua.” This announcement comes one day after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott declared that the state would target Venezuelan gangs following reports of their activities in Dallas and El Paso.
However, it is interesting that Democrat Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar has not investigated the San Antonio Migrant Center for the possible presence of gangs. But he did blame Trump and the Republicans for the border crisis in his speech at the Democratic National Convention. Ridiculous.
On Tuesday, Sept. 18, Governor Abbott announced a new statewide operation targeting the Venezuelan gang, “Tren de Aragua,” to disrupt their criminal operations and deny their foothold in Texas. Governor Abbott is offering a $5,000 bounty for information that leads to the capture of members of the notorious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua that has “spread terror and carnage” across the United States.
Since there is little to no help from the Biden/Harris Administration regarding a problem they created, Governor Abbott said Texas will deploy every tool and resource available to ensure that the state is a hostile territory towards this violent gang and that the citizens are protected.
“If [Tren de Aragua] is unchecked, it will just expand terror and carnage that Tren de Aragua imposes in whatever country they’ve been in,” said Governor Abbott. “That’s why Texas stepped up to be the first state in the United States to say that Tren de Aragua is not going to be not only unwelcome here, but we will be seeking them, we will find them, and we will put them behind bars.”

On Friday, Sept. 27, the Dallas Police Department confirmed that they are investigating an area in North Dallas for the criminal presence of the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. For the last year, the DPD has been investigating alleged criminal activity committed by members of a Venezuelan gang in North Dallas.
According to the DPD, several individuals in the North Dallas area may be associated with the Tren de Aragua gang. This Venezuelan criminal organization has reportedly entered the U.S. because of the open borders policies of the Biden/Harris Administration.
And yet, not all the elected officials in Texas are interested in arresting or removing the violent Venezuelan gang, Tren De Aragua. El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego, a Democrat, called the Texas Gov. Abbott’s Governor’s statement that the violent Venezuelan gang had taken hold of the borderland: “a lot of embellishment.” Samaniego said the Governor’s claims are exaggerations and wished that Abbott would talk to local officials before making such allegations.
However, the Governor’s “Operation Lone Star” members have informed and advised him of the gang’s presence and activities along the border. The state has had to step and do what the federal government will not do: secure the border and protect the citizens of Texas from illegal immigration and contraband drugs.
Just as Democrats and the liberal Mainstream news media deny voter and election fraud, they are downplaying illegal alien crime.
Tren de Aragua is quickly establishing itself in Texas communities, particularly in poorly managed apartment complexes in urban areas. The matter is complicated by liberal mayors and George Soror-funded District Attorneys who protect the criminal “migrants” and hinder and restrict the local police. These liberal mayors also deny problems in their communities associated with “migrants.”
The border must be secured, and all immigrants must be checked before they are allowed to enter the U.S. Also, all illegal aliens, especially those with criminal records, must be deported out of the country.
American border and immigration policies must protect the citizens first and foremost.
